MGM Room Service $25 for Glasses and Plates
Flamingo $60 "Early Check-In" charges
Casinos holding slot money at the end of the month to make monthly/quarterly revenue goals
Casinos holding all the money in the few days leading up to a holiday, in order to pay out on holidays date themselves - so you'll make social media posts about winning (on the the holiday between about 12pm-5pm), so people will book their trip for the next holiday...
You get mailers/emails about promotions "you could win $X", but that prize is already earmarked for their highest spender and any rewards you get are based on your tier - spoiler alert, you usually win like $5-10, not the giant prizes they talk about!
Promotions where you have to meet certain niche terms (like a prize giveaway, but they give the money away at 1:45am on New Year's Day, and you have to be there to win - when they know everyone will be back in their hotel room...)
Promotions where you have to earn "500 points", which you automatically think is $500, but 1 point is actually $5 - so you have to spend $2,500 to earn it, not the $500 you thought
Caesars Rewards that don't comp you based on every single slot bet - rather there's a "countdown" where you have to spend a full $5 for example (everytime you spin the "points" drop from 500 to 450 to 375 to 250 to 175, etc. down to 0, then they give you a single comp point), but if you wager $4.75 across several spins and take the money out, you get 0 toward the comp. Other rewards programs don't do that.
Slots
"More Ways to Win, More Ways to Lose"
"Food Symbols" - you can reasonably expect certain items to go-together, take playing cards for example A, K, Q, J, 10 - make logical sense right? And you know on a slot machine, if they include symbols like that, but throw in a "9" they're finding an additional way to screw you over. But what about random symbols, like food for example? How many different ways can you lose - cherries, carrots, corn, bell peppers, empanadas, cilantro, shrimp, etc. What you'll find is an abundance of different symbols, making it hard to find matches and offering more ways to separate you from your money!
Huff N' Puff (win on Hardhats, Buzz Saws, Deeds, etc.), get 2 of one symbol and 1 of the other means no bonus, so they mix and block each other
$7 WOF lands on Gold Spin but you don't get a Gold Spin unless 3 spin icons
Max bonus payout has to be on a specific payline configuration - not just getting the symbols
Yin and Yang effect (different colored trains in Monopoly, different colored balls on Fireball Paradise Lights, etc.)
4-8 icons to start a bonus (used to be 3 scatters anywhere to start bonus)
Every time you get a double rev up (2 of the 3 needed bonus symbols and you ALMOST get the last one to initiate the bonus), you ALWAYS get the 3rd scatter on the NEXT SPIN 100% of the time.
Your "last" spin is always $.01 short of the minimum credits needed to spin again - so you better put another dollar in so you can spin
All the games in an area start bonusing at the same time, but not the one you're playing
You get the special symbol (like the Golden Blinking Cat Eye, or the Treasure Chest), but since the other symbol with the dollar amount on it isn't directly touching that symbol in the adjacent reel - you get nothing
Spooky Link revs up and the Yeti says "Something's happening.....", but then literally nothing happens
The coin tray on Casper lifts up and floats and shakes, then lands back down and nothing happens
Coins go up to the bucket in the top, but don't do anything
You get the special symbol and the adjacent wins are like $1 in reel number 2, $1.50 in reel number 3, $1 in reel #4 - where are the hundreds, and thousands??
Your $1 bet ALWAYS wins you $11-14 in the bonus round - why not hundreds of dollars? Why not thousands?
The Strip
Anyone ever trying to hand you anything or get your attention
Character Photos / "Showgirls"
Cab drivers who get on the highway and then also "accidentally" miss an exit, in order to drive you 1 block away that would have taken 2 minutes if they just drove directly down the Strip - now the cab fare is 8x higher than it should have been - be sure to tip accordingly!
Fremont
Anyone ever trying to hand you anything or get your attention

"Street Performers" - it's not a "Vegas Show" they're doing on Fremont, it's a nuisance. Don't encourage it.
