MGM Grand.
The Grandest of hotels with the word "Grand" in their name.
Their only other competition is Downtown Grand, but still.
Favorite Memory: 7am Can of Coffee
Have you ever been up, and ready to party at 7am in Vegas?
We have.
Favorite Memory: Almost Playing Games
One time we went in here to try the Virtual Reality.
The guy working there was on the phone with a (potential) customer, for literally over 10 minutes.
We waited, and waited, and after 10 minutes we left.
I guess a potential sale is better than an actual sale. No wonder they closed it!
Had to imbue a little luck into the gambling totem.
Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill
Crispy Pee Wee Potatoes - marinated in butter, oil, mayo, and cheese - the 4 "fat" groups of flavor, as I like to call it.
Everything is pretty good, but expensive, which you'd expect from MGM Grand, and also from Wolfgang Puck.
Favorite Memory: KA
She used to work for Cirque.
KA is our favorite show.
Well that, and Beatles Love were a tie in my book. She gives the deciding vote to KA.
It's pretty amazing.
Just some Nevada State Flowers in the wild there.
Favorite Memory: Hotel Stay
As with most hotels in Vegas, my reaction was it's nicer than I expected.
About 6,700+ rooms here makes you wonder about things like Housekeeping, Cleanliness, Smells, etc.
Now the check-in process..... that's another story.
All I can say is, good luck with that process, and budget at least 1-3 hours!
Backrooms anybody?
Always appreciate a nice Vegas bathroom!
Heard a lot about the pool & lazy river, pretty big place.
23rd floor, Strip view room, at night.
Favorite Memory: Netflix Bites Money
We wanted to try Netflix Bites. I said let's play a slot (for $1) and see if we can win enough money to eat for free.
Boom, we did it.
I got the Red Bite, Green Bite. It was actually really good, and a pretty fun concept.
I'm all about gimmicky stuff for experiences in Vegas.
Spin the wheel, dip in the matching sauce.
Normally my fingers might get "extra sticky" with a prop like this...
She loves Love is Blind!
A demi-what now?
She's always holding hands with horror creatures, for some reason.
The best kind of cherries!
Favorite Memory: Bonus-Ception
One time we got a bonus-within-a-bonus, within-a-bonus on this game. I didn't take pictures of each stage because I didn't know it could bonus that far.
Regardless, it was awesome.
I miss outdoor astro-turf in Las Vegas.
Literally one of my favorite things ever.
Favorite Memory: Housekeeping Stripper.
One time we asked a random housekeeping lady if she could take our picture in front of this lion.
She was holding a broom and a mop so I instinctively tipped her by shoving a $5 bill in her apron waistline.
IDK what the heck I was doing, it felt like I was tipping a stripper. Completely my fault.
If she ever sees this - sorry about that!
I'm not always that stupid, just sometimes.
Here it is!
