Casino Royale.
The most Royale casino in all of Las Vegas.
Enjoy this one like a sunset in the Caribbean, because if you blink, one day it WILL be GONE!
Owned by the Elardi family, helmed by their 97 year old matriarch (as of 2025).

So savor it, enjoy it, drink it in - hell the casino bar honestly has the 2nd best soft drinks I've had in Vegas, the perfect ratio of carbonation to syrup, in a town where all other soda, like their gambling - is flat and slightly acidic.
It's just one of the MANY things Casino Royale gets right!
Low ceilings make the magic.
Makin it rain!
Speaking of making it rain, did I ever tell you about the time we literally almost won the Megabucks at Casino Royale?
Well sit back and let me tell you a nearly epic Las Vegas story.
Favorite Memory: Almost winning the Megabucks, but not.
In December 2025 we went up there on a Sunday afternoon. Took like $80 - I said let's go have an afternoon at Casino Royale. We play around for like an hour, don't win anything, but chalk it up to that's just how it goes. Still love the place.
So like again 3 days before Christmas I'm like let's go back to CR, we didn't win anything last time, see if we can win a little bit of that $80 back.
We're goofing off, playing some random games and when we're walking by I ask her to take my picture (the one above this image of the slot machine) and go hey let's put in $20 and chase the Megabucks.
I do a few spins, nothing. She sits down, spins and literally lines up the Megabucks 3x, 4x, 5x about an inch and half above the payline!
So yeah check this out. This was the first reel...
2nd reel...
And 3rd reel...
I'm sad, but I can't figure out why!
That says it all right there.
Normally I would be shocked to have been THAT close to a life changing amount of money - except I wasn't.
Look at the "About Us" section of this website, and you'll learn more about how I almost won the lottery, and then how two weeks later, she almost won the lottery, and how we've almost won the Megabucks like 7 different times now......
So yeah that's something like $510 Million I believe we're owed with ALMOST winning money gambling. But instead it's 0.
We're cool like that.
Fun fact -
Just like Humphrey Bogart says in the movie Casablanca - "of all the Single-Arch McDonald's in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine".
Btw there's like 10-12 of these in the entire world. And we have one here at Casino Royale!
Actual photographic evidence of the foot-long hotdog costing $2.49! Miracles do exist!
*Note - I'm pretty sure it used to be $1.49 at some point back in like 2009, but don't quote me on that
This would make a hell of a Ford commercial wouldn't it??
BTW, recognize him from "Crazy Things I've Seen Page" of this website?
The first $20 is on them? Damn straight it is!
Like it says, damn straight!
Top Dollar Premium. That's just how we roll at Casino Royale. The most Royale casino in all of Las Vegas.
#wishyouwerehere
How much do you have to spend here for them to give you $1,000 in free play??
#wishiwasthere
In her #fattuesday era
Also, I think they rename the property after you if you win $75 or higher!
Whole screen of one symbol, win $25. #vegasbaby
Like being in the French Quarter in New Orleans, minus the pee smell. Just kidding, it still smells like pee outside.
Favorite Memory - My First "Real" Exposure to Gambling in Las Vegas:
Back when they used to have $3 craps here, I played with a guy that took out a $3,000 line of credit at the table. I'm like damn dude that's a lot of money, he goes "Man what do I care? If I win, I don't have to pay it back!"
The ultimate spirit of Las Vegas.
Shines like a pretty penny, Jack.
Should have bought a hot dog when it was $2.49
#younglove
Favorite Memory - Major Win.
Hit this on Halloween night.
Got the major, that's more like it.
On Halloween night, none the less.
$.50 going back into my pocket!
The view from the casino formerly known as "The Mirage".
When you play the Game of Thrones slot machine, you either win $14.00 on your $1.00 bet, or you play long enough to "almost" bonus several times.
Come, spend your money, on any machine, in any denomination!
I wonder if that sign will end up in the Neon Museum someday, sarcastically of course!
They are really proud of that $20 on them! Which btw, is only if you bet $20.00 and don't win a single penny back, if that happens, then they would load you $20 in free play on your Player's Card.
Remember to put some of that tip money away for 401k!
Not just a Best Western, people. A Best Western Plus.
Obligatory Vegas carpet pic. It's art, and it's beautiful.
She's mad at the lack of winning, not at me. Or so she says.
Favorite Memory - $30.00 of free White Castle.
Played there so much we got comped $30 in free food. Sweet, we go over there show them this, and approximately one hour later, we were finally eating free White Castle!
First they thought it was 30% off our bill, then the manager went on break, then they only had 1 cook working, but man I was determined to get the comp I'd earned, so we stuck to it and after an hour they finally gave up and we got our food.
Good times, good times.
Located straight back in the casino, in case you don't want to spend half your night arguing with White Castle.
They're giving away $10,000. Just not to you.
She literally won the bonus on this game on the day I'm writing this post, too!
Don't get distracted.
Vapes, and $2.99 hot dogs, count me in!
That way for the $20 on them!
BTW in Vegas if you get gas at Terrible's, you get a free soda, as of when I wrote this!
Remember when Harrah's used to have those giant Jokers on top of the building, but then they got rid of them so they could appeal to Conventioneers? Pepperidge Farm remembers
Megabucks, not all the Megabucks, just some. But doesn't pay any money, obviously. One of these days though, one of these days I'm going to win the Megabucks.
Hopefully while I'm still young enough to enjoy it!
Side note: one time I did win on 7 consecutive spins on the MB machine to the left of this game (but only $5-15 per spin) - but that was kind of crazy.
That's probably the only backpack from a night market in Chang Mai Thailand to ever be at Casino Royale.
I literally played this game again today on the day I wrote this, didn't win then either!
2 games in this row bonusing at once.
She's getting less mad, the more she wins!
Still climbing!
Our 2nd biggest win at Casino Royale, I think.
Bet $10 on the next spin, win $16 - sounds about right! #forgot how to win
Peace be with you!
View from the top.
And also with you!
She always play this game, it always wins, so why not?
Give me a "pick game" bonus over a "free spins" game bonus any day of the week!
Favorite Memory - A what?
Speaking of, she literally ALWAYS says she has to poop in Casino Royale. IDK what it is, we'll be at the Wynn, Venetian, Fontainebleau, etc. immediately before, and every time we get here, I'm like, you better not I'll take you back to the Wynn so you can poop in luxury!
The time of our lives.
I wasn't lying about that soda!
Not even the first time I've won the major on this game.
Boo-yah!
The shirt, the shirt!
The shirt, the shirt!
What is this?
My money.
Matchy-matchy.
The usual spot.
Casino Royale Food Court - the precursor to "Food Halls", you know the same exact thing, but cheaper!
Name a game that has never paid anybody a single penny...ever...
Ol' Reliable
$3 bet, 3 Wheel of Fortune bonus symbols, of course it's not a bonus.
Isn't that the cologne from Anchorman? 60% of the time, it works every time.
I can't tell where one shirt ends and the other begins!
