Atomic Testing Museum
This place is the bomb, yo.
Huh.
Back to the 80's Cafe
Super cool vibe in this place, as someone who grew up in the 80's with all the memorabilia and decorations brought back a lot of nostalgia - I was pleasantly surprised!
A legitimately fantastic burger! And the Tetris tots were perfectly crispy and salty, without being overly greasy. Highly recommended!
Barking Dogs
Blaspheme Boutique
I don't know if they still sell it, but this is where I bought my vials of "Lake Mead Corpse Water" back in the day when the news was big on all the bodies they found in Lake Mead. Not the ones they didn't find, just the ones they did find!
A must for any Vegas collection.
Blooming Buns
Brioche Donuts. $9 Brioche Donuts. Good Donuts.
Bonanza Gift Shop
Bonanza Gift Shop - if you they don't have it, you don't need it!
Bonito Michoacán
Bonito Michoacan - sounds like something a Minion would say.
They're not afraid of citrus on their protein, and I like it!
Cactus Joe's Blue Diamond Nursery
We had a dog like this.
Army ants, haha.
Cartzilla
Time to ride the Strip in a 10' tall shopping cart!
Randy - the stone cold legend himself. (probably the nicest guy ever actually, 5 stars, he was awesome!)
My love!
Carlos (ridiculously photogenic) - representing!
Love, is a wonderful thing - Sir Michael Bolton
Up next from the DJ - Shania Twain Man I Feel Like a Woman - let's go girls!!
One day that will be a giant Guitar Tower!
Cemetary Pulp
The place is as weird as you'd think it is. And I like it!
Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunting Kit.
Chill Haus
Non-Dairy Soft Serve, some of the best ice cream in Las Vegas!
Coffee Religion
Coffee, and Religion, but not in a weird way.
My wife is a coffee drinker (I'm not) and this place has her stamp of approval.
Diakon Vegan Sushi - (West of the Strip)
This place came straight out of left field for me - had no expectation and left simply amazed.
Probably one of my all-time favorite places to eat in Vegas.
It looks like sushi, it smells like sushi, it tastes like sushi - but it's Vegan.
You simply have to try it to understand, it's incredible!
Yellow Magic Roll - (Pictured on top)
Black Garlic Roll - (Middle)
Hot Girl Roll - (Bottom)
The Papaya Salad that gets progressively better the more of it you eat.
I can't explain it, it just does.
The Thai Iced Tea was the most flavorful I've ever had. I think it's because they don't use actual dairy so you can taste the tea a bit better, but it has a great balance of tea and sweatness.
Tried the Vegan (nut free, gluten free, soy free) Strawberry Cheesecake too, just to make sure that sweet tooth was satisfied.
Discontinued - Eat (Fremont)
Hungry. Luckily, there's food nearby!
Gambler's General Store
Another religious pilgrimage, if you will.
Grand Prix Plaza
GPP - you know, that thing every year responsible for all the construction and small business closures, glad I took a picture of it!
A genuine feat of engineering, these cars are.
XBOX, but on steroids!
Halloween Emporium & Haunted Tea Room
Plenty of spooky offerings for sale in here, Clark.
Helldorado Days Parade
After missing it for 3 different years, we finally caught the parade!
Just so happened to be randomly staying at 4 Queens the night before, so we lucked out.
If you walk to the White Castle on Fremont and look toward the Strat, the parade starts at Gass Ave and goes to Stewart Ave, lasts about 2+ hours and the performers start getting to the White Castle at about 10:30am.
This group was warming up their horses for the parade early, so they were heading in the opposite direction of the parade.
Parade heading the right direction now!
Dancin' Grannies
Lots of horses at the parade. Horses for days.
Horror Vibes Coffee
Formerly plenty of spooky offerings for sale in here, too, Clark.
Like all things in Vegas, if it didn't make a gazillion dollars in profit in the first 2 seconds, they better just go ahead and get rid of it (which they did).
A rotating, seasonal, spooky menu, for your pleasure.
A surprisingly expensive cup!
IT Escape Room
My wife in her natural element.
Actual props from the films.
This attraction is done by Egan Productions, who work directly with the movie studios on these types of attractions.
Authenticity is through the ROOF, 10/10 must experience, it's like you're literally in the films themselves.
They also do the Blair Witch Escape Room, Fright Dome at Circus Circus, John Wick Experience at Area 15, Saw Escape Room, etc. if you're into this sort of thing.
Which I am.
La Luna Tea and Dessert Bar
Pretty solid cup o'tea.
I got the Osmanthus Snow Pear tea, and it had a little bag of fresh chopped Pears steeping in the tea.
Man I love the taste of pears.
Lone Mountain
So pretty, and nice mountain scenery too!
All uphill!
At the summit.
Chippy loved taking hikes. It was her favorite. #adventuredog
The Strip, The Strip!
Chewkie!
The view looking NE to the corner of the valley
The view toward Summerlin
Highway 215 - we usually have the other view when we're driving!
Peace!
Another successful hike!
Meraki Greek Grill
This is where the Chefs eat!
Mr. Mama's
Decent diner option when there are very few in Vegas.
I'd say Lou's Diner for atmosphere (if you sit at the bar counter), Coffee Cup Cafe in Boulder City (overall), this is another nice option food is slightly better than the other two, but they have better atmosphere.
In my opinion.
