I mean, it's the only casino I've actually seen people fist fighting in (at the slot machines). If that doesn't tell you everything you need to know about the place, I don't know what does.
It's a hotel with many names, and just as many memories.
And it's part of the reason for themed casinos in Las Vegas in general.
Disney, and the TV show Cops, eat your heart out.
Favorite Memory: My First Hotel in Vegas
In 2009 I got an invite to interview at Boys & Girls Clubs of Las Vegas. So I flew out from Kansas City and stayed here the night before.Â
The room, and experience, was everything I ever thought it would be.Â
Konnichiwa.
Bet $3, almost win.
Welcome to Vegas!
Lee Dog.
Like when you see a dog out in public.
Favorite Memory: And then I won $5
One time when this was the high-limit area, I bet $5 and won $75.
Still riding that win 16 years later.
#core memory
Must have been hungry. I would guess.
Favorite Memory: 'Twas the Knight - Christmas Edition
We did the 'Twas the Knight show for Christmas, it was really great - I liked it a lot!
You also get dinner (1/2 Rotisserie Chicken, Red Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, Pumpkin Pastry, etc.) - so it's the actual "Dinner and a Show" that I always joke about all the time. And the food was actually decent.Â
Now I do need to share a Pro Tip on this - the menu says they have things that they don't actually have. The menu says Fresh Rosemary on the chicken (there's no fresh Rosemary), it says Brown Butter corn on the cob (there was no Brown Butter), etc. - so just be aware on that side of things.
The MC character guy did a great job narrating and everything - you could tell he's been doing that job forever, and the story was a fun Christmas version.
Plus they have different regions where you're sitting root for their specific champion, so it's rowdy and loud.
Definitely has the recipe for a great Vegas show.
#Date Knight (get it?)
They sat us here and I am actually Irish, so it was meant to be!
You're a wizard Harry!
This dessert was delicious!
I think it's made in house from what it said online. It was flaky, dense, not overly sweet. Too bad you can't buy extras or I would have loaded up.
This is where they used to do the Merlin's Magic Show, or whatever it was called.
There's a whole bunch of Youtube videos about it. It's down in the moat to the right of the building as you approach from New York New York.
Whole screen of symbols, $10.
Welcome to Las Vegas!
Favorite Memory: Cocolini
It's good everytime!
I didn't notice these chess pieces before, for decades
Had really good funnel cake fries, then they closed this place.
Glad I took a picture of it!
