Linq.

The old Imperial Palace. I went there once. To the sportsbook. 

Let me just say it was every bit as glorious as the internet says it is.

These days, Linq is my go to spot for March Madness basketball. 

Maybe because the place has a bit of a college kid / dorm room vibe. But there's not place else I'd rather be during the Tournament.

Except maybe Circa.

Or splitting time at both.

Either way, not a bad way to live.

Really nice to stop in when it's 100+ degrees out.

Fun Fact: the High Roller has 112 cables, that can span 4.8 miles.

That's about the length of the entire Las Vegas Strip!

New shop location (closer to the Strip in the Promenade), same great cookies.

Speaking of Promenade, walked by this hundreds of times, and this haunted elevator ride has been on my list for like 2 years, let's check it out!

The stage is set.

The technology (and visuals) are straight out of 2010, and they never changed it. Sometimes that can be a good thing in Vegas, but you could go to Universal Horror Unleashed for nearly the same price as this... so I would recommend that, this, not so much.

But I am glad we got to see this though!

Btw, for your spooky fix, this was 25 cents at the Linq (located by 99 Prince Bar) - and 10 times more fun!!

Bit of a one trick pony for this one as well. Whenever I make that joke "I've spent $60 on dumber sh*t" - this is that, this is the $60 I'm referring to.

Again I'm glad we experienced it, as with all things Vegas.

You do get a free ice cream from this van at the back of the Linq Promenade, if you didn't learn anything about taking sweets from a stranger in a van, when you were younger.

Millenials can only choose one: a house, or this.

Best served at room temperature. Or when it's 120 out in the summer.

Favorite Memory: Virgil's Real BBQ

We're from the Midwest, there aren't very many "good" BBQ restaurants in Vegas, compared to what we're used to.

But this one is really good. 

Favorite Memory: 99 Prince Bar

First, the "Tunnel Funnel" sounds like a crazy Vegas experience, like the type of thing you would hope to find in Vegas.

Second, it's a pretty cool place, very New York. Very Avant Garde.

It's crazy what they've done to the former Sportsbook at Imperial Palace!

Maybe we don't cup the ice on top with our bare hands next time.

Favorite Memory: Bubble Craps and the Garage Doors

Went back literally 2 days ago, they changed this whole area. But with those doors/windows open in the summer, it's still the spot!

I love the heat + a/c + people watching + games, etc.

Some of my favorite memories in Vegas at are O'Sheas (the original), on the Casino Royale side, that used ot have table games basically outside on the sidewalk.

Favorite Memory: Dog-Shit Shooter

We're out for Saint Patty's Day - I buy in with 3 other people at the same time after watching this lady roll for like 10 minutes - after she completes the Make them All. 

Her husband rolls next and gets everything in the MTA except the 12. 

He hits 5 different 5's without a 7. 

It's crazy hot table, back to back hot shooters almost never happens. 

The whole time this super sloppy guy that's everything you think of a "professional Vegas craps player" (long crazy hair, disheveled beard, belly sticking out, hippie sunglasses, obnoxious, loud, flush with cash, etc.) keeps yelling catch phrases - "throw 'em ilke you wanna make money", "she's screamin' for that hard 4", "any pair, any pair", etc. Husband seems unbothered and completes a really good roll to follow up his wife's really good roll. 

He is the next roller, I said watch this dog-shit roll - sloppy guy rolls one number and a 7.

That's Vegas I guess.

Forget the Over/Under 7 - I'll take the "7" - that thing hits every time.

At least, every time I've literally ever been on every number (4-5-6-8-9-10) that is. 

Can't believe we hadn't ever sat here before.

Video Poker wasn't bad, actually won a few hands along the way.
