This was a variety show - closed in 2024.

Drumlines, dancers, jugglers, knife throwing, acrobats, all that jazz. 

Basically the entertainment you can get at Superfrico, or lots of other restaurants in Vegas, these days.

They relied heavily on iLuminate, who now perform at the Strat.

We went for free, so the price was definitely right!

Oh yeah, and lots of spotlights the entire time.

Concessions are a must for any Vegas show - it's half the fun!

Saw Le Reve here back in like 2009.

The biggest "wow" moment for me was at the start, when they pulled the curtain up into the ceiling to start the show.

Made me feel like a Vegas show was the coolest thing ever.

Still is!

Puppetry.

But not the type they do at the Puppetry of the Penis show at Erotic Heritage Museum.

Completely different.

You thought I was joking.

Interesting show overall.

I think it was produced by Baz Luhrmann, one of the Cirque guys, who I also think did an Elvis movie in like 2022 if I'm remembering correctly.

Lots of puppets, and dancing.

This show featured something like 500+ props, it was incredibly elaborate. Check out their video explanation here.

Just the timing to orchestrate moving all that stuff around during the show is super impressive.

Ready for the show!

Huge variety of types of acts, in true Cirque fashion, but everything moved fast and was paced quickly, so you never felt like you were waiting for anything.

They would transform the stage in like 20 seconds to setup entirely new stunts.

This is one of those weird spectacles you simply have to see. 

They do gross stuff with bananas. On stage.

But not like what they do at Little Darlings.

That's different.

I got picked to lead a "dance" off for my section of the crowd.

Should have taken a selfie during that, would have been my most epic selfie ever.

Either way, was a blast!

The stage is a pre-show bar, makes more sense than being a during show bar - I guess!

Singing, dancing, live music, acrobatics, a wheel of death - what's not to love??

The greatest (I'm not exaggerating") show in the history of Las Vegas.

This dude dedicated his life to training rescue animals to perform cute stunts, and it's everything.

Gotta get in the holiday spirit!

Seeing the 2nd longest running show currently in Vegas - in the books!

About 10 months in the making to see this show, glad she's a patient woman!

Amazing show, btw.

So the Emcee is doing crowd work, he lands on us - guesses my name and it's actually my brother's name, then again and it's my middle name, so I knew this was going to be good!

They pull us on stage to be "contestants" for the "how well do you know your spouse" kind of game.

When I'm walking up the stairs on the stage the Emcee goes, "damn you got a fat ass for a white boy, and those calves, this guy walks places" he's great at observational humor, genuinely funny guy and he razzed the audience a ton.

They have me go into a soundproof booth on-stage with headphones on (blasting AC/DC You Shook Me All Night Long so I couldn't hear anything), where one of the characters, Zombie Mike, tries to turn me into a picnic. They ask her some questions and I have to answer without hearing what she said.

I come out of the booth and get to the podium - Emcee goes "ok I'm going to ask you one question and if you get it right you guys win the game and you'll talk about this night forever, are you ready?"

I leaned into the mic and said "was that the question?" - he laughs and goes "I know these guys have been to the Green Door (Vegas Swingers Club) - I lean in again and say "no, Red Rooster" (even worse Vegas Swingers Club) - he goes, "close the curtain, show's over".

We got the answer right, so we won some additional free show tickets - it was a lot of fun and a good time all around.

Singin', dancin', props, acrobats, contortion, live band, comedy, etc.
