Flamingo
The Dirty Bird.
Probably one of the most iconic properties in Vegas.Â
It's in movies, music videos, it's glam, it's vintage, it's everything we all want Vegas to be - and so much more!
Secretly one of my favorite properties in Vegas. I like how it's right in the middle of all the action.
It really makes me think of "Vegas"!
Favorite Memory: Yes that's exactly what you think it is.Â
Favorite Memory: The Flamingo Habitat
It's a cool little sanctuary among the chaos of the Strip. Lots to explore, lots to see, lots of nooks and hidden areas.
But for shit sake, stop smoking weed in the Flamingo Habitat people, JFC.
Personally I don't drink, but I do think it's interesting how not every bar carries every item. Like I always thought you could get anything at any bar. Here is where I learned each bar only has certain stuff that is popular with that clientele, and you can't get the same exact items everywhere.
Favorite Memory: Craps - Make 'Em All
Playing at a completely full table, all the numbers rolled except for "3".
Like 10 minutes of numbers goes by, I tell my wife all we need is a 3 for everybody at the table to get paid, since literally almost all of us were on the Make 'Em All.
The dice are coming to our end of the table, I see one of them lands on a 2, and I glance over and watch the other dice toppling over, and it's a 1 - the whole table absolutely ERUPTS!
The dealers were pissed. They had to pay pretty much every person at the entire table $755, you would think it was coming out of their paycheck.
Be happy for the table, events like that are the reason we all use our paychecks to play rigged games in Vegas!
The man with the hot dice hand in question!
I almost never win money in Vegas, had to make sure it was real!
Favorite Memory: Hotel Stay
I've always liked the Flamingo, we stayed for 3 nights and it was much better than expected.
The room is showing its age a bit, but the views are some of the best of any hotel I've stayed at in Vegas!
When you combine this color scheme with the view, it definitely feels like a step-back in time.
Which is kind of fun in a way, if you appreciate the history of Vegas.
It's a lot of pink, but it's the Flamingo, so what else is there to expect?
This is the view right there.
25th floor.Â
Love the original Caesars fountains, feels very magical.
And of course still an amazing view at night, as expected!
Cortadido Coffee - not Mozzarella Sticks, but could have fooled me.
World's Tiniest Coffee.
Probably.
Happy to have a visit from a great friend, and share the awesome experience of Vegas!
On her first spin of the night...Â
4 of 5 megabucks symbols, in the first 4 reels consecutive
Would have made us all pretty happy if there would have been ONE MORE Megabucks symbol, that's for sure!
2nd spin of the night, only missing the symbol in reel #4.
Another "almost" $10,000,000 not in the bank...
Come visit us again so we can win this thing next time, ok?
Did win a few bucks on the final spin of the trip, typical Vegas moment lol
Favorite Memory: Splash Fresca Bar
If you've never had these, they're amazing! Everything is fresh and I've liked all of them I've had so far!
#Game Time
An unrelated craps session, to the Make 'Em All night.
Coins for the Ferryman.
The slots aren't terrible here, I've won a few times. Nothing major, but best of any Caesars property, for me anyway.
I always play wager saver. Best deal in the place!
Better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them, I guess!
Gives new meaning to the term dickhead!
Favorite Memory: Pinky's
Great atmosphere, cute place, absolute greasiest meal I've ever had in Las Vegas.
Like whoever is in the kitchen doesn't know what food is, level of grease.
Maybe stick to fresh items on the menu like salads and stuff, instead of burgers & tots - just some food for thought!
English Garden meets Tea Time meets Rich Grandma meets Vegas Casino.Â
I love it.
Piff the Magic Dragon - I've never seen the show, but I have seen the performers!
It only looks photoshopped, but isn't.
People get married here.
Favorite Memory: Discovering Buddha
Been to Flamingo many times, for many years never noticed this statue until I did.
I think for luck you're supposed to circle Buddha statues clockwise only or something like that?
$270 on our 9-Year Wedding Anniversary? Yes please.
Favorite Memory: The Go Pool
10 minutes well spent, before heading to a real pool, like Caesars
Crowded Pool Deck. #too much furniture grandma
Now that's more like it!
Discontinued - Margaritaville
Favorite Memory: Craps
This restaurant had a casino, crazy, I know.
One time I played craps there. It was a great vibe. They had garage doors that opened to the outside and that's my favorite - combining a/c with 120 degree heat in Vegas.
With the sun shining, and people vibing, and ice cold beverages.
Nothing like an ice cold beverage.
Have you ever been out in Vegas with $0, and watched it slowly climb to become something?
I have.
